APPLEBUM – Autumn/Winter 2011 Lookbook Behind the Scenes | Video
It is no secret that Tokyo based APPLEBUM takes inspiration from hip hop culture. For their Autumn/Winter 2011 lookbook they invited three influential Japanese rappers to model their latest products resulting in a distinct lookbook. TwiGy al Salaam, Dabo and Chinza Dopeness represent the three generations of Japanese rappers, where each artist influenced and shaped the culture from the late 80′s, 90′s and 2000′s respectively. APPLEBUM not only captured the photo shoot using still cameras, they managed to document the whole session in video format as well. Check after the jump for the full video of the photo shoot.

Moncler V Kaniho Jacket
Michigan’s REVIVE has just taken delivery of a remarkable piece from a stellar collection: the Kaniho Jacket from Moncler V, the moniker for the ongoing collaboration between Moncler and visvim. visvim’s Hiroki Nakaumra is a purist in the strictest sense, an aesthete who prizes authenticity and artistry above all else, so his partnership with a company that’s been making stylish winter expedition apparel since the 1950s represents a perfect match. The down-filled Kaniho Jacket typifies Moncler V’s craftsmanship and attention to detail. It’s built with a cotton shell and features a cotton lining with vintage logo print, removable Dutch Army internal bracing system and coyote fur hood. Two large hand warmer pockets with button closure, ribbed cuffs and Riri zipper complete the look. For those outside the Birmingham, Michigan, area, REVIVE does take phone orders. Nike WMNS Force Destroyer Jacket
Already a staple in the Nike apparel collection, the Destroyer Jacket is an homage to the traditional American varsity jacket. These jackets make use of technical materials from the ACG line such as water resistant fabrics, bonding and laminates. A new version of the WMNS Force Destroyer Jackets are launched in two versions. Force insignias can be found on the chest and back as high quality embroideries, balanced out by multi-colored ribs on the collar, waist and cuffs. Zipped chest pocket provides the distinct front view, while snap button front opening offers easy access and ventilation for the jacket.
